Annual conference convened cybersecurity leaders and practitioners for practical education, peer exchange and conversations shaping the next era of security.
NEW YORK CITY, NY, UNITED STATES, October 26, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — InfoSec World, the premier education and networking event for senior information security and cybersecurity professionals, concluded its 32nd annual conference at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, bringing together cybersecurity professionals across 400+ organizations and 13 countries for five days of education, networking and community.
Held October 11 through 15, InfoSec World 2026 centered on “The Cyber Continuum: From Acceleration to Adaptation,” reflecting the pressure security teams face as artificial intelligence, evolving threats and business transformation reshape cybersecurity.
The 2026 program featured 165+ speakers, 175+ sessions and 100+ exhibitors and sponsors, spanning AI security, threat response, resilience, identity, cloud security, application security, governance and cybersecurity leadership.
“Every year, I’m reminded that what makes InfoSec World special is the people and the conversations that happen when we bring this community together,” said John Del Mauro, EVP, Events, CyberRisk Alliance. “This year, we saw security professionals openly sharing challenges, exchanging ideas, and learning from each other. Our program tackled the issues they’re facing every day, from AI and emerging threats to risk and resilience. At the end of the day, that’s what InfoSec World is all about: bringing people together to turn meaningful conversations into stronger strategies and real progress for our industry.”
Artificial intelligence was a major focus throughout the conference. Sessions explored AI governance, agentic AI, AI-enabled attacks and how security teams can adopt emerging technologies while maintaining strong security fundamentals. The Agentic AI Summit provided a focused forum for examining the opportunities and risks created by increasingly autonomous systems.
The program also emphasized practical lessons from real-world incidents. The Threat Summit: Real Attacks, Real Lessons brought security practitioners together to examine current attack methods, response strategies and lessons organizations can apply to strengthen their defenses.
“What I appreciated most about InfoSec World 2026 was the quality of the conversations and the opportunity to connect with professionals who are genuinely passionate about advancing cybersecurity,” said Adriana Winkler, Privacy and Risk Lead – Global of Accenture. “The conference created an excellent environment for exchanging ideas, discussing emerging challenges, and building meaningful professional relationships. As a speaker, I particularly enjoyed engaging with attendees and sharing perspectives on how agentic AI is reshaping privacy governance. The combination of insightful sessions, valuable networking opportunities, and an approachable, collaborative atmosphere made this a truly rewarding experience.”
InfoSec World also expanded its focus on leadership and career development through Women at InfoSec World, a half-day program featuring first-person stories, interactive discussions, mentorship and conversations around sponsorship, allyship, career growth and building stronger cybersecurity teams.
One of the highlights of the growing Women at InfoSec World program was its session that drew the largest audience, Pressure, Boundaries, and Burnout, led by Dr. Amy Gutman. The workshop gave attendees a comfortable space to have honest conversations about the pressures of working in cybersecurity, managing competing priorities, and recognizing burnout. The strong participation showed just how important it is to create opportunities for people to connect, share their experiences, and support one another.
Across the conference, attendees had opportunities to connect directly with peers, industry experts and technology providers through educational sessions, workshops, networking programs and the InfoSec World expo.
The 2026 event delivered its strongest attendance engagement in recent years, with an 85.5% attendance rate, the lowest no-show rate in the period, and record participation from All Access pass holders and speakers.
Planning is now underway for InfoSec World 2027, taking place Sept. 20-22, 2027, at the Gaylord Rockies Resort in Denver, CO. Learn more at infosecworldusa.com.
