Backed by Redesign Health, Locke Health and KCRise Fund, Treso is building one connected platform for physician practices to run their financial operations.
KANSAS CITY, MO, UNITED STATES, October 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Treso, a company building an intelligent financial operating system for healthcare providers, today announced $3.75 million in funding to support the launch and growth of its healthcare financial platform. The round was led by Redesign Health, with participation from Locke Health and KCRise Fund. Treso will use the capital to launch with its first design-partner practices and scale its platform to independent physician practices nationwide.
Healthcare providers are expected to run increasingly complex businesses without tools built for the job. EHRs support clinical care and billing, and payroll platforms manage staff payments. Traditional enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems offer comprehensive business capabilities, but their cost, complexity and implementation demands have put them out of reach for many physician practices. As a result, practices often manage their financial operations across spreadsheets, bank portals and disconnected software. Rising operating costs and pressure on margins make those fragmented workflows harder to sustain, while reimbursement timing can create gaps between when practices receive revenue and when they need to pay business expenses.
Treso is building an intelligent financial operating system for healthcare providers, designed from the ground up to bring accounting, receivables, expense management, procurement and business intelligence together with banking and financial products in one connected ecosystem. AI and automation work across connected financial and operational data to help providers reduce costs, increase revenue, improve cash flow and gain greater control over their financial operations.
Treso’s business tools and financial products are designed to reinforce each other. Revenue from financial services supports access to comprehensive business tools without costly software subscriptions, while connected financial and operational data can inform underwriting and help tailor financial offerings to each practice’s needs.
Treso’s core product will be free to providers. As part of the platform, the Treso card gives practices real-time control over spending, with virtual cards that can be issued to specific vendors with set limits and AI that matches receipts automatically. Because Treso sees both what a practice pays and what it collects, it can underwrite spending capacity based on how the practice actually operates, giving practices purchasing flexibility to cover the costs of running their business.
“Physician practices are expected to run complex businesses, but they’ve been left to piece their finances together on their own, often with tools that are too expensive or disconnected to justify the investment,” said Ryan Greenhaw, co-founder and CEO of Treso. “Banking, accounting, receivables, expense management and procurement should work together in one system. We’re building Treso to help providers automate the business side of their practice and take full control of their finances, so they have more time and more margin to put back into patient care.”
Treso built its platform in close collaboration with physician practices. Its first design partners span a broad range of specialties and include single-physician clinics as well as multi-site groups, and will go live with Treso at its initial launch in December.
“Physician practices are some of the most underserved businesses in healthcare. Their finances run on long reimbursement cycles, complex payer mix and thin margins, and those challenges demand infrastructure built specifically for how a practice operates,” said Neil Patel, Head of Investing at Redesign Health. “Ryan and Zvika pair deep fintech infrastructure experience with a firsthand understanding of provider operations, and they’ve built this product alongside the practices it’s meant to serve. That’s exactly the team we want to back as Treso brings modern financial infrastructure to independent practices.”
Treso’s founding team combines healthcare technology and fintech leadership. Co-founder and CEO Ryan Greenhaw is an athenahealth veteran whose healthcare technology career spans six startups and two notable exits. He has spent his entire career working with healthcare providers to improve how they manage the administrative and business sides of their practices through technology. Co-founder and CTO Zvika Badalov is a fintech operator who has spent more than 15 years building the systems behind how money moves. He led engineering at Cross River Bank, co-founded Vikar Technologies and served as Chief Technology Officer of Finally, where he built cards, payments and lending products. At Treso, he’s bringing that experience to independent practices, giving them financial tools that have usually been built for much larger organizations.
Treso will use the funding to advance product development, expand its team and support its initial launch with design partners. Treso has also established banking partnerships to support funding for its financial programs for providers. Details of those partnerships will be announced at a later date.
