Built at TribalScale by CEO Sheetal Jaitly, the registry tracks 59 named AI agent projects at large organizations, each status backed by a public source
TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA, October 22, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Shipped or Stalled (shippedorstalled.ai), a free public registry that tracks what happens to enterprise AI agents after they’re announced, is now live. Built at TribalScale by CEO and Founder Sheetal Jaitly, the registry follows named AI agent projects at large organizations and records whether each one stayed in pilot, went into production, scaled, or was switched off. It’s designed for executives deciding which AI agent projects to fund, scale or stop.
How it works
Each project carries one of four statuses: Pilot, Production, Scaled or Killed. Every status links to a public source, such as a press release, an earnings call or a news report, and a project isn’t listed unless its source clearly supports the status. Each project page also includes a sourced “What happened” section that picks up where the launch announcement left off.
Same idea, two outcomes
Two drive-thru voice AI projects show how differently the same bet can play out. McDonald’s tested IBM’s Automated Order Taker in more than 100 US restaurants before shutting it off in 2024, and reporting by CNBC and the BBC tied the decision to accuracy problems. The registry tags it Killed. Taco Bell’s voice AI ordering, built with Omilia, is tagged Scaled: Nation’s Restaurant News reports it’s now available in more than 890 restaurants across 38 states.
The numbers
As of Oct. 17, 2026, the registry tracks 59 projects: 27 in Production, 13 Scaled, 5 in Pilot and 14 Killed.
“Most enterprise AI news stops at the announcement,” said Jaitly. “A company launches an agent, gets the headline, and that’s where the story ends. That’s AI theatre. Nobody’s keeping score of what actually reached production and what was quietly switched off. Shipped or Stalled keeps that score, using only what’s on the public record.”
“The killed projects are where the lessons are,” Jaitly added. “They show exactly where things break. If you’re about to fund your next pilot, start there.”
Submissions and independence
Anyone can submit a new project, or a newer source for one already listed, at shippedorstalled.ai/submit/. Every submission is checked against its public source before it’s published, and submitting doesn’t guarantee a listing or a particular status.
The registry will be funded by clearly labeled sponsors. Sponsors can’t buy a listing, a status or a status change, and can’t have a Killed entry removed. There are no paid listings and no partner listings, and the site doesn’t collect consulting leads.
Readers can subscribe on the site to a free weekly email covering every status change and its source. A 44-second explainer video is available at https://youtu.be/2uYdDOYN8DI.
