Senior living veteran to lead the company’s first enterprise technology function, connecting care,
operations and the business that supports them

Some of the important information in our business starts as a small observation. Our work is to turn them into insight, communication and action without adding data entry for people doing the work.”

— Murry Mercier

BEAVERTON, OR, UNITED STATES, October 26, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Springs Living has appointed Murry Mercier as vice president of technology & information systems, the company’s first enterprise-wide executive technology role. Mercier joined the company in August to bring the organization’s systems, data and technology partners together under one strategy built around residents and the teams who serve them.

Mercier brings more than 25 years of experience with a career that spans both operators and technology. He began inside organizations including Erickson and Morningstar, before spending 12 years at PointClickCare, most recently leading senior living solution design and supporting commercialization. He also serves on the AgeTech committee of the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care (NIC).

“We’re thrilled to welcome Murry to The Springs Living,” said Brenda Connelly, president of The Springs Living. “He has spent his career in senior living, both inside communities and building the technology that supports them. He understands what our residents and teams need, he leads with humility, and he cares deeply about the people we serve. That’s exactly who we wanted guiding this work.”

What He Leads

Mercier oversees technology strategy, information services, informatics, cybersecurity, vendor partnerships and the responsible adoption of AI across more than 30 enterprise applications. His role includes building the company’s internal technology team and connecting systems across wellness, operations, finance, facilities, development and human resources.

How He Approaches the Work

“Some of the most important information in our business starts as a small observation,” said Mercier. “A care partner notices a regular at the afternoon social has stopped coming. A maintenance director sees the same repair for the third time. A project manager spots costs creeping on a new build. Too often, those moments stay with one person. Our work is to turn them into insight, communication and action without adding data entry for the people doing the work.”

That starts with a foundation most people never see: security, networks, integrated systems and reliable data. It also means technology follows the business, not the other way around.

“The priorities of the organization set the priorities for technology,” said Mercier. “Every investment should trace back to a resident, a team member or an outcome we’re accountable for. That work happens together, with the people in our communities who know what will actually help.”
