Veteran Infrastructure Executive to Lead Operational Strategy and Scalable Growth Across 4CE’s National Platform

GREENVILLE , SC, UNITED STATES, September 1, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — GREENVILLE, SC, UNITED STATES, Sept. 1, 2026— 4CE Engineering Group (“4CE”), a growing network of engineering and infrastructure firms dedicated to connecting engineers, contractors, manufacturers, and asset owners, today announced the appointment of Brent Wilkins, PE, DBIA, as Chief Operating Officer. Wilkins will report directly to 4CE Founder and CEO, Wes Kingery, and will oversee company-wide operations across all of 4CE’s business units as the firm continues to expand through organic growth and strategic acquisitions.
Wilkins will oversee day-to-day operations across 4CE’s business units, working alongside regional leaders to standardize how projects get delivered, resources get allocated, and performance gets tracked. He’ll also be central to how 4CE brings new firms into the platform — helping recently acquired companies plug into 4CE’s operations without losing the local relationships and technical expertise that made them attractive partners in the first place.
“Brent brings a rare combination of engineering expertise, contractor side project management, and consultant side leadership that will be invaluable as we scale our platform.” said Wes Kingery, Founder and CEO.
“His track record of building accountable teams, strengthening client relationships, and turning technical excellence into measurable business results makes him exactly the kind of leader we want driving operations as we grow.”

Wilkins brings more than 17 years of progressive leadership experience across construction engineering and inspection (CEI), construction management, heavy civil contracting, transportation, and alternative delivery.
He joins 4CE from RS&H, Inc., where he served as Associate Vice President and Senior Project Engineer, leading multidisciplinary teams supporting FDOT and municipal infrastructure programs throughout Florida.
Wilkins holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of South Florida, is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida and a Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) professional. He is extensively involved with American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), previously served as president of the Florida Engineering Society (FES) Ridge Chapter, and currently serves as a Tampa Bay CCD board member.
“Having worked on the owner, contractor, and consultant sides of this industry, I understand what it takes to deliver infrastructure programs that work for agencies, communities, and the people building them. I’m excited to bring that perspective to 4CE and help build the systems and culture that let our regional teams scale without losing what makes them successful.” said Brent Wilkins, PE, DBIA, Chief Operating Officer.

The appointment marks another milestone in 4CE’s continued growth, reinforcing the platform’s commitment to strong operational leadership as it scales across North America.
