Jerome youth international, senior national-team selection, Haitian championship football, title-winning experience in the United States join the Lions of NYC

BROOKLYN, NY, UNITED STATES, September 1, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — OSNER’S FC proudly announces the addition of Haitian goalkeeper Alan Jerome joins OSNER’S FC, an accomplished 25-year-old whose football journey began in Pétion-Ville, Haiti, and has carried him through international youth tournaments in Europe and Brazil, Haiti’s national-team pathway, historic Haitian clubs, and championship-winning football in the United States.

Born August 22, 2000, in Pétion-Ville, Jerome arrives with a résumé that reflects something OSNER’S FC values deeply: development through experience.

Public football records confirm Jerome’s August 22, 2000 birth date, Haitian nationality and position as a goalkeeper. His career record includes Haiti U17, Haiti U23 and involvement with Haiti’s senior national team.

For OSNER’S FC, however, his story is about considerably more than a list of teams.

It is the story of a young Haitian player who dreamed of becoming a professional footballer, traveled internationally while still a child, represented his country at multiple age levels and continued pursuing the game through every stage of his development.

FROM PÉTION-VILLE TO THE WORLD

Jerome’s relationship with football began during childhood in Haiti.

He developed at Vivario, an academy environment in Haiti featuring Brazilian and Haitian coaching influences. By 2013, football was already taking him beyond Haiti’s borders.

With Vivario, Jerome traveled to Norway, Sweden and France, including participation in two of Scandinavia’s celebrated international youth competitions, the Gothia Cup in Sweden and Norway Cup.

Those trips represented far more than tournaments.

For a young goalkeeper from Pétion-Ville, they offered an early introduction to different football cultures, coaching methodologies and players from around the world.

Brazil followed.

In 2015, Jerome traveled with his development program to compete in the Copa Zico, where his experience included competition against Brazilian opposition such as Flamengo. He returned to Brazil for further competition, including the Copa São Paulo environment in 2016 and 2017.

Independent competition records provide particularly useful corroboration of his 2017 Brazilian experience: Global Sports Archive records Jerome appearing in the 2017 Copa São Paulo de Juniores with AF Pérolas Negras U20.

For a goalkeeper still in his teenage years, the accumulation of those experiences; Haiti, Scandinavia, France and Brazil provided an unusually international football education.

REPRESENTING HAITI AT U17 LEVEL

Jerome’s development eventually earned one of football’s greatest honors: representing his country.

He was selected for Haiti’s squad at the 2017 Concacaf U-17 Championship in Panama. Concacaf’s official tournament roster identifies Jerome as one of Haiti’s two goalkeepers.

He started against Curaçao, Panama and Honduras, playing the full 90 minutes in all three matches.

His performance against host nation Panama became particularly memorable.

Haiti played much of the match with 10 men following a first-half dismissal, placing considerable pressure on its defense. Jerome responded with a standout performance, producing important second-half saves as Haiti secured a 0–0 draw. Concacaf’s match report specifically highlighted his goalkeeping performance and key saves.

It was an early demonstration of a defining goalkeeper characteristic: composure when the match becomes difficult.

“Goalkeeping teaches you responsibility very early,” Jerome said in a proposed quote for the announcement. “There are moments when the team needs you to remain calm regardless of the pressure. My experiences representing Haiti taught me to compete for something bigger than myself. I want to bring that mentality with me to OSNER’S FC.”

VIOLETTE AC, DON BOSCO AND HAITIAN SENIOR FOOTBALL

Jerome’s progression continued into senior Haitian club football.

He joined Violette AC in 2019, during the club’s journey from Haiti’s second division, before moving to Don Bosco FC of Pétion-Ville later that year.

Public transfer records corroborate the sequence from Violette to Don Bosco in 2019, while later national-team documentation repeatedly identifies Jerome as a Don Bosco goalkeeper.

His Don Bosco experience also exposed him to regional competition. Match records document Jerome playing the full 90 minutes against Cibao FC and Waterhouse FC during the 2020 Caribbean Club Championship.

For a goalkeeper born in Pétion-Ville, representing Don Bosco carried an additional local connection: he was competing at senior level for one of the clubs associated with the community where his own story began.

FROM HAITI U23 TO THE SENIOR NATIONAL-TEAM ENVIRONMENT

Jerome continued climbing Haiti’s international pathway.

One chronological clarification is important for accuracy: although his Olympic pathway began earlier, the final Concacaf U23 Olympic qualifying tournament was ultimately contested in March 2021 after the competition cycle was affected by the pandemic.

Jerome was officially selected as one of Haiti’s goalkeepers for the final Olympic qualifying tournament in Guadalajara, Mexico. Haiti’s group included Honduras, Canada and El Salvador.

His national-team trajectory did not end there.

In June 2021, Jerome was included among the goalkeepers in Haiti’s squad preparations for the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup, alongside players competing professionally across Europe and North America.

Match databases subsequently record him in Haiti’s senior-team environment during the Gold Cup, including the matches against Canada and Martinique, and he later received another senior call-up for Haiti’s international friendlies against Bahrain and Jordan.

That progression, Haiti U17 → Haiti U23/Olympic Team → Haiti senior national-team environment is among the strongest elements of Jerome’s football résumé.

A NEW CHAPTER IN THE UNITED STATES

Jerome eventually brought his career to the United States.

His American journey included Miami United FC, followed by Little Haiti, where he continued competing in the South Florida soccer environment. Current player databases document both Miami United U23 and Little Haiti within his recent career history.

According to the career information Jerome provided to OSNER’S FC, his period with Little Haiti included four UPSL championship successes, adding repeated experience of competing in an environment where results, preparation and winning standards matter.

Now, his journey brings him to New York City and OSNER’S FC.

HAITIAN HERITAGE MEETS BROOKLYN AMBITION

There is a natural connection between Jerome’s story and the identity OSNER’S FC is building.

Jerome understands that connection personally.

For Nazaire, Jerome also represents the kind of pathway young academy players should be able to see.

“Imagine being a young goalkeeper in our academy and meeting someone who began in Haiti, traveled to international tournaments as a child, competed in Brazil, represented Haiti at U17 and U23 levels, entered the senior national-team environment and won championships in the United States,” Nazaire said. “That makes the power of possibilities tangible.”

EXPERIENCE THAT CAN REACH THE NEXT GENERATION

That experience can also benefit the OSNER’S FC Academy.

As the organization continues building a developmental pathway from youth football toward UPSL Division 2, UPSL Division 1, UPSL Premier and NPSL, the club wants young players to interact with senior footballers who understand firsthand what development actually demands.

For young goalkeepers in particular, Jerome’s journey offers lessons in patience, resilience, preparation, positioning, communication and the mental demands of one of football’s most unforgiving positions.

The goal is not to promise every academy player a professional career. It is to create an environment where every serious young player has an opportunity to develop—and where those capable of progressing toward collegiate, national-team or professional football can see a structured pathway ahead of them.
