NASHVILLE, TN, UNITED STATES, September 1, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — British country singer-songwriter Bee Smith has signed an exclusive transatlantic publishing agreement with Thornton Cline Music, the Nashville-based publishing company founded by Grammy-nominated songwriter, Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee, and publisher Thornton Cline.

Smith has built a growing profile through her work as a songwriter and vocalist, earning recognition from organizations including the International Singer-Songwriters Association (ISSA), Josie Music Awards and World Songwriting Awards. In 2025, she was named International Female Songwriter of the Year by ISSA, alongside multiple award nominations and finalist placements. Across 2025 and 2026, Smith has received nine Josie Music Awards nominations across songwriting, vocal performance, song, vocal collaboration and fan-voted categories.

Her recent collaboration with Texas country artist Chris Chitsey has brought further international momentum. Their recording of “Summer Before The Fall,” co-written by Bee Smith and Thornton Cline, reached number one on the World Indie Music Chart and has remained at number one across multiple consecutive weeks. The single has also charted alongside major artists including Shaboozey, Jelly Roll, Jo Dee Messina and Zach Top on the L.A.-based New Music Weekly Country Indie Radio and Digital charts, as well as CDX country charts, while receiving U.S. and international radio exposure.
