DELMAR, NY, NY, UNITED STATES, September 3, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — With Pain Awareness Month underway, the Alternative Pain Treatment Directory is reminding people living with chronic pain and healthcare professionals about a free four-part webinar series beginning Wednesday, September 9.

Rethinking Pain Care: Beyond Pills and Procedures will explore approaches to chronic pain that many patients may never hear about during conventional medical treatment.

The series will be hosted by Cindy Perlin, LCSW, founder of the Alternative Pain Treatment Directory, author, licensed clinical social worker and chronic pain survivor.

“People with chronic pain are often offered medications, injections or surgery without ever learning about many of the other approaches that may help,” said Perlin. “Pain Awareness Month is an opportunity to broaden that conversation and help people understand that there are many paths to pain relief.”
