JAMS, the premier provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, today announced a collaboration agreement with California Arbitration (CalArb) that will provide CalArb members and the parties in their international arbitration matters with access to JAMS’ San Francisco Resolution Center facilities. The agreement reflects the organizations’ shared commitment to promoting California as a leading seat for international arbitration and supporting the continued growth of international dispute resolution in the state.

CalArb is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing international arbitration and ADR in California. The collaboration supports its mission to strengthen California’s position as an arbitration-friendly forum by expanding access to facilities and support for complex cross-border proceedings.

Under the agreement, qualifying matters will be able to reserve JAMS’ state-of-the-art International Arbitration Suite, located within its 38,000-square-foot San Francisco Resolution Center. The dedicated 2,534-square-foot suite includes a principal arbitration room, two additional conference rooms, two private breakout rooms that can serve as party or arbitrator workspaces, and access to an arbitration lounge and café.

The collaboration comes amid continued growth in JAMS’ international dispute resolution work. According to the JAMS 2025 Resolution Report, new international cases increased nearly 16% year over year, while international arbitrations filed under JAMS Rules rose 51%. San Francisco was also among the most frequently selected places of arbitration for JAMS international matters, highlighting California’s growing role in cross-border dispute resolution.
