New facility offers residential care for middle and high school students navigating mental health crises with an emphasis on keeping families involved in care.

PERRY, GA, UNITED STATES, September 11, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Perry Behavioral Health, a new residential mental health treatment center for teens, opened in Perry, Georgia, on September 10, 2026. The facility offers intensive treatment programs created specifically to support middle and high school students experiencing mental health crises.
Perry Behavioral Health provides residential treatment for adolescents navigating identity crises, mood disorders, suicidality, and other mental health struggles. The program also treats co-occurring substance use disorders and eating disorders, with individualized care plans built on a process-based group therapy model.
The new campus features separate, gender-specific housing for male and female clients, each with capacity for up to 30 residents, as well as a dedicated clinical space. While at Perry Behavioral Health, clients have access to individual and group therapy as well as online schooling so that academic progress continues during treatment.
