MCT expands MCT Marketplace with non-QM pricing, best execution, mark-to-market reporting, investor discovery, and electronic loan trading.
SAN DIEGO, CA, UNITED STATES, October 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Mortgage Capital Trading, Inc. (MCT®), the de facto leader in innovative mortgage capital markets technology, today announced that MCT clients are now able to price and optimize non-QM and non-agency executions within MCT Marketplace, giving mortgage originators and investors a more connected way to transact in the growing non-agency market.
Following initial transactions between participating sellers and buyers, MCT is expanding its technology to integrate non-QM production across the secondary market lifecycle. Originators can manage non-QM alongside agency production through best execution loan sales, mark-to-market reporting, investor discovery, and electronic marketplace execution.
Non-QM has historically presented originators with a fragmented secondary market, including varying investor guidelines, pricing methodologies, and execution processes. By connecting more buyers, sellers, and pricing within MCT Marketplace, MCT is working to reduce those barriers, increase liquidity, and create more opportunities for optimal execution.
“Non-QM is becoming an increasingly important part of the mortgage market, and the infrastructure supporting it needs to evolve alongside it,” said Curtis Richins, President and CEO at MCT. “Our focus is to walk lockstep with the industry, understand where originators are encountering friction, and build technology that removes those barriers. Bringing non-QM to MCT Marketplace is a natural extension of that commitment.”
MCT is also expanding the technology surrounding non-QM execution. Non-QM mark-to-market reporting helps lenders monitor loan value and profitability, while best execution analysis incorporating best-efforts pricing provides greater visibility into available execution strategies as more pools get carved. MCT Marketplace allows bulk sellers and buyers to efficiently transact pools, including loan level and shadow bidding between prospective partners. The non-QM scenario pricer feature allows originators to test loan scenarios, assess investor appetite, and discover potential counterparties before execution.
The expansion also creates additional opportunities for non-QM buyers. Through MCT Marketplace, investors can gain exposure to new seller production, leverage shadow bidding, provide flow best-efforts pricing, and compete for segments of production aligned with their credit and pricing strategies.
To introduce lenders to the new functionality, MCT will host “Introducing Non-QM Production to MCT Marketplace” on October 27th at 9am PT. Led by Justin Grant, Senior Director and Head of Investor Services at MCT, the webinar will demonstrate how lenders can leverage the non-QM scenario pricer feature, mark-to-market reporting, best execution analysis, and MCT Marketplace for managing non-QM production.
